Central African Republic, as the name implies is at the Centre of a continent in transition from conflict, lack and poverty to potential economic development and sustainability. However, for the past three years, it has gradually engulfed into sectarian conflict, if not put under control, has the potentials of grater destabilization of the continent in transition. Latest Humanitarian Situation Reports of 12 February 2014, reveals over 288,964 of displaced persons with acute nutritional needs arrived in Bangui and other safe-havens from surrounding prefectures, with 2.5 million people, in need of assistance in the country. As a result of the constrains in humanitarian agencies participation -needy sectors; to get involved in this humanitarian operation, The International Islamic Youth League has started humanitarian relief operations Central African Republic, requires committed International Non-Governmental Organizations-who have experience in fund raising and donor support programmes for conflict situations of this nature; to assist in the provision of humanitarian assistance, for our operations in the Central African Republic (CAR).

Our Organization, have worked for over 20 years, in conflict situations in the regional countries of Mali, Sierra Guinea and Liberia we have been reliable informed that, we are committed to assisting communities to meet the basic livelihood needs of vulnerable people- in the broadest sense-people made vulnerable by displacement, violence, armed conflict, humanitarian disasters and Poverty.
The International Islamic Youth League is registered with Government of the Central African Republic (CAR) and has undertaken a needs and scope assessment of the situation in communities in and around Bangui and Bassangos District; for possible humanitarian relief assistance programmes for mostly vulnerable Internally Displaced Persons in Central African Republic (CAR).
With serious consideration of the large scale displacement and acute needs of the people and the related constrains in delivering Food Aid, coupled with high increases in prices of food commodities. We are requesting funding support for 5,000 household families with a total of 35,000 people in selected areas in and around Bangui and Bassangos; increasing number of displaced people are arriving every day in Bangui and Bassangos, which are not yet covered by humanitarian Relief delivery by the United Nations and other humanitarian Agencies, but are in urgent need of Relief Food and Non-food Aid, most especially the vulnerable groups.
