URGENT HUMANITARIAN APPEAL FOR CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC

Central African Republic, as the name implies is at the Centre of a continent in transition from conflict, lack and poverty to potential economic development and sustainability. However, for the past three years, it has gradually engulfed into sectarian conflict, if not put under control, has the potentials of grater destabilization of the continent in transition. Latest Humanitarian Situation Reports of 12 February 2014, reveals over 288,964 of displaced persons with acute nutritional needs arrived in Bangui and other safe-havens from surrounding prefectures, with 2.5 million people, in need of assistance in the country. As a result of the constrains in humanitarian agencies participation -needy sectors; to get involved in this humanitarian operation, The International Islamic Youth League has started humanitarian relief operations Central African Republic, requires committed International Non-Governmental Organizations-who have experience in fund raising and donor support programmes for conflict situations of this nature; to assist in the provision of humanitarian assistance, for our operations in the Central African Republic (CAR).

Our Organization, The International Islamic Youth League is an inspirational Youth lead organization, which is focused to promote Voluntarism, solidarity, peace and development around the world, requesting donation from donors, to support Water & Sanitation, Child Support, Agriculture, Education and Humanitarian Food Aid programmes for Internally Displaced Persons in the Central African Republic (CAR).

Our Organization, have worked for over 20 years, in conflict situations in the regional countries of Sierra Leone, Mali Guinea, Liberia Guinea Bissau and Central African Republic we have been reliable informed all donors and partners, we are committed to assisting communities to meet the basic livelihood needs of vulnerable people- in the broadest sense-people made vulnerable by displacement, violence, armed conflict, humanitarian disasters and Poverty.

We collaborate our humanitarian intervention with The Unite Nations Specialize organizations, such as United nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP), the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, (UN OCHA) the United Nation Children Education Fund (UNICEF) and Food and Agricultural Organization of United Nations (FAO) , and other Humanitarian Partners organizations such as the Islamic Development Bank Group, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the Humanitarian Concern International of Canada, the Islamic Committee of the International Crescent.

Our Organization, The International Islamic Youth League has made humanitarian needs assessment visit to Central African Republic, Cameroon and Chad in close cooperation with IDB, OIC, Islamic Relief Worldwide, Doctor Worldwide, the Turkish Red Crescent and International Humanitarian Relief Organization (IHH) we made several discussion with various Government department of Central African Republic the Former Prime Minister, and all the Government Ministers for smooth coordination of humanitarian intervention.

Currently our organization is undertaken camp construction project in DOHOLO with partnership with the Islamic Development Bank, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.
